 Respected Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India,

May I firstly congratulate you on becoming Chief Justice of India recently, as I was an avid follower of landmark Supreme court cases on which you had given verdicts, specially the Right to Privacy and aadhaar verdicts.  Although your aadhaar verdict was Minority opinion in the bench, but it clearly steered the Majority verdict to say, "Aadhaar can not be Mandatory in opening Bank accounts or getting Mobile telephone connections" . So I am hopeful that in your tenure, People's Fundamental Rights would be strongly protected from erroneous Laws, Rules and Regulations that governments (both in centre and in states) prevailing know or are planned to put in. I share your school of thought that Biometric information is citizen's own property and nobody can pressurize a Citizen of India to give his or her fingerprints and retina /iris prints to any Government.

I never made my Aadhaar (Biometric) card and it made my present life a living Hell.

In direct violation of aadhaar verdict,  all PSU and private banks now ask for aadhaar to be linked with the bank account of Indian Citizens. 

They deliberately ask for that while opening a savings account, most PSU Bank managers have flat out rejected such applications for new accounts. In case of Old accounts,  they allow it to be active.  But when Debit card expires, they do not issue Debit card.

I had only one savings account with Axis Bank and for last 9 months, I'm not getting the replacement Debit Card .. they on their part is issuing a Rupay Debit Card with every request of mine which is getting stopped in midway. First they said, my address was not complete and courier could not find it and that turned out to be wrong claim by their call-center . As I requested for a new Chequebook for the same account, and that reached my address and I received that.

Nobody officially said that I had to make aadhaar and submit it. But one executive lastly confided that only people without aadhaar are facing that problem. 

Lordship must know that I'm quasi-retired now, because I can't find an easy way to submit my "Income Tax Returns" and now Union Government and Tax authorities are threatening to cancel my "PERMANENT ACCOUNT NUMBER" of PAN .

Now this PAN is important part of my identification with Bank (which they call KYC) , I don't know what will happen to my meagre savings. 

The bank asked me to download their app, first thing that app shows is connect "aadhaar with PAN" otherwise you can't proceed further in the app (or at least I could not get past that screen). Sir, what is the business of a Private bank in forcing a customer to give aadhaar to PAN regulators?

Meanwhile, my Passport has expired and there also they are asking for aadhaar. Sir, I thought right to travel is part of right to movement; this is not a welfare scheme of Government, so aadhaar should not be required. 

I can't get cooking gas (LPG) connection for domestic purposes. They also ask for aadhaar.  I told them, I don't want Government subsidy and still I can't get connection . 

My old mobile connection is the only mode of communication left for me. As for new Wifi router or dongle, all ISP are asking for aadhaar. 

Sir, these are cases of union government . Now during Pandemic lockdown, my driving license had expired .  I tried applying online, they also ask for aadhaar. Although it was issued in West Bengal, a state whose government which opposed "aadhaar mandate" but they also ask for aadhaar. 

So I now go old-school and offline to do my banking with Chequebooks and Passbooks and can't drive my own car. I don't mind physically being present in the bank as it remains empty by the cash counter as people queue up in front of ATM machines.  But all expenses in life are not planned, suppose I get admitted in hospital, would they accept cheques of a man about to be operated. 

So I stay clear of Hospitals also.

But Supreme Lordship will be shocked to know that In West Bengal and in most other States .. Even in death,  aadhaar is mandatory or so Crematorium & Burning Ghats Proudly say so. No aadhaar, No cremation or burial for that matter.

They do not Perform ANY BIOMETRIC TEST on the dead person, but issue a death certificate based on aadhaar. How many criminals may have faked their deaths by passing their own aadhaar card on unclaimed cadavers, God only knows and Your Lordship can easily understand. They get their death certificate, immediately. But the heirs of a law abiding person will have to run from Pillar to post, to get a legally binding Death certificate only because the deceased believed in Fundamental Rights and your aadhaar verdict. Is this Justice, Sir?

I know every single citizen has Ignored your fine verdict on aadhaar and keeps ignoring "UIDAI advisory" to offer a scanned or photocopy of their aadhaar to every official who asks , but do these documents provide any real proof of identification to the authorities or do people Know that these copies will be kept safe, for eternity?

I actually had bhelpuri on a paper cone made with aadhaar photocopy.. right outside a telecom/ISP store. But there was too much of chutney in bhelpuri.. so it got smudged. 

But Sir, I believe people have to right to choose, if somebody wants to distribute their Biometric ID .. let them do that. 

But Sir, show me a way to live without aadhaar or let me die.

Suicide has been decriminalised, if only by a commitment of Government to Supreme Court.  But my tiny savings and small amounts of life insurance in India shall not reach my nominees if Municipality run Crematorium does not issue my DEATH CERTIFICATE.

Take the example of "Moneycontrol" online news outlet,  boldly giving Unscientific headlines such as

 "Coronavirus BF.7 Variant in India Highlights: A mother and daughter arriving from China via Sri Lanka to Madurai test positive for Covid 19"

I got curious and looked into the news report. Firstly , their headline over an overstatement and a lie. 

Truth starts and ends with "A mother and daughter arrived in Madurai from China via Sri Lanka... and they tested positive for Covid19" 

Which variant that is, can't be ascertained by "News Channels" or "Airport Authorities" or "Press Trust of India", who filed this misinformation. That has to ascertained by Genome sequencing, as I mentioned in my earlier post :

 You would also find the scientific fact that there is no proof BF.7 is causing the super-spread of Covid19 in China. 

Rest of the report had no mention of the patients, whether they are in hospital or institutional quarantine or home quarantine . 

Moneycontrol is a business news network and gladly went on write an "Advertising Article" for Bharat Biotech , what is their price, where they are available. Regardless of the fact, no country other than India or international organisation has approved this nasal vaccine. Indians actually have to buy these vaccines at Rs. 800 per dose.

In fact, same method was used in Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine but UK didn't approve of that vaccine. Nasal vaccine without the spike protein (which is ever changing by the way, thanks to high Mutation Rate) can NEVER PRODUCE the immunity that a vaccine ought to provide and a body needs to repel the virus.

Now Architect of these Nasal vaccine approval seems to be a non-scientist , one time Microsoft secretary,  Mrs. Melinda Gates .. known in the Media world as "Gates Foundation" co-chair and divorced wife of Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder.  Gates couple has long left Microsoft to invest their money in Utilities, Energy and of course,  Pharma Companies. Technically "Gates Foundation" is just like any other Wall Street investment fund, except they don't pay high taxes using the "Humanitarian" garb and only a select handful of Billionaires handle their work.

Now citing "India is allowing Nasal vaccine ", expect the failed AstraZeneca vaccine to be approved in India very soon.  As Gates family is highly invested Poonawala's outfit and as well as Bharat Biotech. 

Although one need lesser consumable in Nasal vaccine,  as one do not need injection syringes or cotton balls or disinfecting alcohol, they are still priced as 800. One spray can do hold multiple doses and there are be "No proof of exact amount of vaccine applied" to all subjects. 

Despite these glaring anomalies, Government of India is pushing forward with Nasal vaccine. May god save India from greedy shopkeepers, who has ascended to the throne in India. 

As for Submitting recent Genome sequencing data to outbreak.info or NCBI, there are none. After all, how many people Check NCBI data in India,  not even one dozen ... and how many people follow TV , which peddled fake news everyday .. well, about a Billion.

They were detected in England and USA .. absolutely brand new Western and imported strains . Although those who didn't get any CN.1, would say it's just BF.5 rehashed .. but they are simply Jealous.

Firstly How Did They Stumble Upon BF.7 strain? 

While China was under Covid19 restrictions, A team of researchers sequenced a lot of Covid19 samples collected in December from Nanjing in Jiangsu province and released the dataset of a dozen or so sequences to all  international databases. They also released in lots of sequences of samples collected in November, but let's not get into that.

 All serious Scientists can view those sequences at NCBI's Covid19 data portal if the look for following submitter Information.

So sublineages of BQ.1 amount to 3 cases.

Who told them that BF.7 is causing the superspread? Why are "Indian scientists" disregarding XBB.1 now? BN.1.3 clearly is faster spreading worldwide and twice more prevalent in (Dr) Geng's dataset? BF.5 is as much prevalent in that dataset as BF.7, why disregard that?

 Unfortunately I saw a glimpse of Adani-NDTV today, in which, Ankit Tyagi was talking to West Bengal Health Minister, Dr. Shashi Panja. And she was saying the same stupid things, 

BF.7 came from China (absolutely false).

BF.7 cases jumped from 2 to 5 in one day (Completely Untrue).

I think she is MBBS Doctor and not a doctor of Virology.. it was stupid of NDTV to voice her opinion as Expert Opinion. 

Fact is neither Ankit nor Shashi Panja Know, there is no BF.7 detection kit.

Samples need to collected, sequencing machines which were idle for months need to recalibrated with a trial run. Then Covid sample assays to prepared and they had to be sequenced. The whole genome has to be sequenced and end product will be a set Files, each carrying one sample's unique sequence. 

Then these files will be fed to "Pangolin" software,  which will give PANGO lineages of every sample provided there were no sequencing error or new lineages. These exceptions are marked "Unclassified" and to virologists, they are most valuable. 

It is not X-ray of broken leg, Madam Doctor that you can say by a look at the plate, "Yes, this is a case of broken bone". And Ankit, it is also not Election result, you can't do "Early trends" in sequencing.. "bhaisaab, pehle 500 DNA dekh ke batao na" (bro, please tell from first 500 DNA base pair).. that sort of thing is also not done.

 In conclusion, free tutorial for Journalists and Politicians and interested people:

You must ask following questions, every time some official shoots his mouth of any lineage detection:

When and where the samples were collected?

Which sequencing machine was used? 

(As in a sequencing run, nobody runs for a single patient) How many samples were sequenced? 

If they say 1 or 2 samples of any particular strain (say BF.7 in this case) were present,  which would mean 19-199 samples were of other strains . If there are Unclassified samples, that might be a bigger healthcare worry.

India has not updated "RTPCR testing Kits" for over a year. India had stopped "Genome Surveillance of Covid19 strains" for most part of 2022. Now saying "We will Genome sequence" for all Covid Positive cases, simply won't work. 

Because Virus mutates continuously and after leaving its track, you cannot rejoin the race at your convenience. The way forward is to Genome Sequence all Covid like cases, even if tested negative for Covid after checking they are not "influenza" through RTPCR tests for Flu. This is how you detect "New Strains" or "New Virus".

And for that, India need to cut down RTPCR test costs.. right now, it is not affordable for 90% indians.

All these hoopla, however, looks like heading towards "4th Vaccine shot" in India, when under current "protocol" people are supposed to be taking their 3rd and thankfully rejecting them.

Masks however are good protection, both against Toxic pollutants and disease spreading aerosols. Wear them outside, as much as possible, Clean, Washable Masks.

BF.7 .. Did they get scared of that strain?

BF.7 Covid strain has been around for long, I had blogged about BF Lineages before.  But let's set the facts straight..

BF.7 sequences were detected long before any Omicron strain was discovered in South Africa, actually on 26th February 2021 .

But they were classified as BF.7 in July by Pangolin Software. 

India found 2 cases, one on 15th July and other on 16th September. 

Now they become scared of BF.7? On 22nd December? Like a popular soap advertising quip, I wish to ask "Tera Scientist Late hai kya?" 

And all state governments in India started "Covid Review Meeting" across party lines? To Politicians I wish to ask, " Have left your brains in Safety Deposit Box of your Bank" ?

Covid may be prevalent in India thanks to dropping of all precautions by these governments, but not BF.7 strains.

BF.7 is so old a strain that it has Sub-lineage strain now!

In Virology, 5-6 months are like 2 decades in human lifetime. Just like humans grow up and have children of their own, viruses spawn fresh Mutations and create Sub-lineages. Last time I checked BF.7 have Sub-lineages:

BF.7.2

BF.7.3

BF.7.4 and its own sublineage BF.7.4.1 and BF.7.4.2

BF.7.5

BF.7.6

BF.7.7

BF.7.8

These Sublineage all failed to become "Dominant strain" in any location. So what is this propaganda of BF.7 is all about? Did India's own "Cheap Scientist of WHO" ask for this propaganda?

This BF.7 is neither more Infectious nor more deadly which is what I intend to prove now. And there are no scientific proof that this strain is responsible for China's Covid surge. Those "Scientists" that say so, don't know a single thing about Virology. 

This BF.7 strain is neither more infectious, nor more Deadly . 

I have included two other locations, Japan who had and still in the middle of Covid19 superspread and USA (most english reading folks believe whatever US says) who didn't have any superspread in last 6 months. 

But if you look in the outbreak info screenshot that I shared above would find very few cases since first detection. 

Neither California, Nor Cumulatively USA saw a spike in deaths. Japan and South Korea saw most deaths from Covid in last 6 months  although they are vaccinated with same American Vaccines. 

Since the BF.7 detection and Covid19 death curves don't fit in Japan and South Korea; it can be ascertained that BF.7 was not the primary reason for those Covid deaths.

Now I have described these data and the science in layman's terms as much as possible, maybe the idiots of Indian Media can read and learn.

I'm sharing Outbreak.info's bar chart of Covid variants currently Prevailing in India,  as Government of India shared with WHO.

Two things become quite evident from this, 

1. Genomic Surveillance of Covid is Quite Lackluster in India. 

In fact, in last 60 days the most India could sequence and submit in one day was less than 24.

There were days when India didn't submit any data at all, in some days 2 or 3 sequences only.

Yet Idiots of Indian Media continue to parrot Government's Claim that India is doing all that it can. Actually TV journalists are doing all that they can, reading aloud whatever script Government feeds them.

2. Mutants XBB Or Cross Between Omicron and Alpha / Delta are the most prevalent strains and not BF.7

Although RNA viruses dont cross like double strain organisms, but some strains did come out among Covid19 genotypes which have marker mutations prevalent in Omicron and other lineages like Delta and Alpha family, these are known as XBB Strains. 

BF.7 has come and gone in India months ago.

Just because Western "Anti-china" propaganda says "BF.7 is killing and spreading like hell In China", they started this hue and cry in Media. Fact is China does not share its Genome sequencing data with WHO, just occasionally drops a few on NCBI databases (which I checked).

Scamsters of WHO now say, Chinese people have low immunity and parrots of Western and Indian Media shart Repeating that. How convenient it is for WHO to give approval to Made in China vaccine and now completely forgetting them. Besides after enjoying fruits of every Hindu festival and Election festivals, Indian Media loves to disrupt the Christmas celebration of tiniest minority.

 What Indian Media doesn't Know:

Don't worry I won't list out everything, if only because of lack of time and space on the blog as it is larger than the largest Encyclopedia ever conceived. 

Firstly, When Indian Media were lobbying for all restrictions to be lifted on Air travel and cheering when RTPCR testing were stopped.. Japan and South Korea reported hundreds of Thousands of new Covid cases daily. Nobody talked about any restrictions then, surely many strains passed into India from there as well as Australia and New Zealand. 

And Indian Doctors are only to happy to resume their profitable private practice, so they didn't even ask for new RTPCR tests forget for others, not only when they contracted Viral fever. They were more concerned about one Zika case. Dengue diagnosis was the medical norm in India for last 3-4 months. But no one submitted any Dengue Genome Sequences in any of International Databases. 

Secondly, Did any Indian Journalists check why Great (lol) Britain stopped it's massive Genome Surveillance of Covid19? Just after stupid Boris Johnson resigned? Do they even know, Nurses and Ambulance service workers are on strike there? 

Thirdly,  Did any Indian Journalist even notice that Italy, Germany are doing the same stupidity as UK is doing? Even Spain and Switzerland are following Sweden model of "Let it be" in 2022, I haven't seen a single story of warning travellers in last summer. Do they know, according to CDC, Fever and respiratory patients are filing up in 46 states and territories .. that's according to Fluview, which also shows very few RTPCR positive cases of Influenza.. the rest are some other virus, infectious and airborne.  Not Omicron,  Not H1N1 flu, Not RSV .. And they are causing Pneumonia just like Covid.

Fourthly,  India needs a comprehensive "Outbreak Prevention Policy", not fits and starts of knee-jerk reaction. Has any International Airport Terminal added a comfortable "quarantine zone" for incoming travellers? What would they do if an Ebola patient lands up in Airport?

Fifth and Finally: With SpiceJet back in business, Government Of India's favourite crony "SpiceHealth" has no interest in searching for updated RTPCR kits . As virus mutates, the primers in the kits must get updated .. well every virologist knows that, but do any Indian Journalists?

 I was checking the lack of snowfall in Himalayas and its effects on mountain glaciers this winter. But this morning, strange little dots appeared on a valley north of Kanchenjangha peaks. These red dots represent fires, but to best of our knowledge in satellite imagery, it is completely barren and no vegetation, let alone trees grow there.

Strangest of Strange fact is, nobody lives in the Valley and it has never given any name in any maps.

It is some 15 km inside Indian border,  so it not that Chinese and Indian troops are exchanging fire.

With every pass of satellites,  the number of red dots grew.

What could be these fires? Live-fire exercises? Did China cross Indian border again? Did a meteor crash? Or did the aliens land from space?

One thing is certain, these fires were not started naturally. The question is, Who started the fire? civilians are not even allowed in that sector.

I'm sure both India and China would sing the Billy Joel song, "We didn't start the fire".

 For 2 weeks in succession, CDC's data shows Outpatients of Most US states show Fever, Sore throat and other respiratory troubles. This data they don't show in their Covid19 section but in Flu section,  the Fluview application. 

Since most of western world's journalists has only turned to CDC during Coronavirus outbreak, they are not conversant with other sections and research work.

ILInet Produces this data and they clearly say, "This map is not of Flu diagnosis, but patients who came with Fever, Sore throat and respiratory ailments". Which actually means, these cases could be of Covid19 or Flu. Because in both cases, initial symptoms will be the same.

While "Fraud Fauci" did a TV commercial for "New Improved (no, not Toothpaste) Covid Vaccine" with First Lady Jill Biden reading the teleprompters, Whitehouse administration is silent about sudden increase "Respiratory ailments and Fever" in most US states. 

Out of these states, New York has reported 6000+ new Covid19 case, just Yesterday. But whether its Democrat ruled California, Washington or Republican ruled Texas,  they don't report daily cases anymore.  Just 2 or 3 days a week, that's it.

If testing and data release were such careless and lackadaisical in 2020. Only 10% of cases would have been reported. 

And on the other side of "Big pond", UK has stopped all testing ever since stupid BoJo was kicked out of office.  Germany, France, Italy are so concerned about their G7 club membership that they would blindly copy anything Biden's Whitehouse does.

This puts World in a very precarious position, where Media always looked at West for real science. But as long as Ukraine war will continue, these G7 countries will continue to ignore real Science. Reason is simple, any slowdown in commerce will put  these debt-ponzi driven countries into economic Depression.

Because these stupid people know only two modes, Lockdown or Break-free. A cautious middle path they will never adopt. 

And WHO? If you bribe them (in 10s of millions), they will say, "Eating shit improves immunity".

What can you do? Wear a mask and a pair of gloves. Make sure they are reusable, I don't want the earth to be littered with use and throw plastics also

Unlike last 2 winters in USA ,  The CDC politicians ( I won't dishonor real Scientists and Doctors, by calling CDC as those ), Flu detection business is in full swing, not that they are dropping huge tranches of Flu virus genome in NCBI. But all the Doctors are "Telegram"-ed by CDC disinformation cell to check for Flu and initially report all Flu-like symptoms as Flu. Everyone by now knows, initial symptoms of Covid19 and Flu are 99% same. 

And it is, also known, about 80% mild cases of Omicron goes away without much ado. So roll the dice and take your chances. It's like playing "Russian roulette" , 87%, 80%, 75%, 66% , 50% survival chances.  First 3 round odds, doesn't even look dangerous, doesn't it?

 So how many COVID19 cases are hiding inside CDC's Fluview data? How can Flu virus make such a strong comeback when COVID had destroyed Flu's ability to be the dominant airborne autumn and winter virus? CDC is only reporting numbers, it has not reported any specific mutations in Flu viruses, which is making it more infectious than Covid .

Take a look at CDC's Fluview map screenshot which says at the end of November most US states are showing massive "Flu Outbreaks" .

When Trump said, "Stop testing for every flu-like fever" many of us ridiculed him for ignorant and unscientific. And our opinions were megaphoned by CNN, BBC, NBC ,  CBS, DW, France24 and the rest of CIA infested global media .

Now when NDTV correspondent asked what F.A.R. is, he could not say, F.A.R. is Floor Area Ratio but he is happy that people can add new floors to their houses . He said "FAR increase means new floors can happen on Air" and then Mr. Tiwari tried pronouncing FAR like Air. 

Ha ha ha ... After all, both FAR and Air are 3 letter words with both A and R letters in them.

Such simple terms are not known by Elected Politicians and Media people, which can be calculated by a 6 year old. Simply Divide Constructed Floor area by Area of the plot (lot for American).

Ha ha ha ha ... even if they knew full form they would have known full form then how to calculate.

Which idiot told them to get Harvester machines? When rural unemployment and specially youth unemployment is rampant in Bengal. 

The land holding of farmers in Bengal are much smaller than UP, Haryana and other parts of India. In Bengal, the farmers will never get the level of "Return on Investment" of harvester machines. When fuels like Kerosene, Diesel and Petrol are at their record high, stubble burning will only increase their input cost , purchasing "Useless Machines like Harvester" will make them crippling in debt.

Yet it seems, all across the Damodar River Valley, stubble Burning is gaining popularity.  As it is smog from North India had already rolled in into Bengal and add to that local stubble Burning and the smoke emanating locally, so Kolkata and Bengal will have as toxic air as Delhi. If Farmers are not rescued early from this Menace. 

Solution and the way out:

1. Avoid mechanical harvesting, create a pool of agricultural labour in the village from local unemployed youth. Let Government's Rural employment guarantee scheme fund part of harvesting labour cost.

Draw lottery to decide whose field gets harvested when.

2. For Stubble clearing, Use the traditional cattle and especially goats in the field. Mutton being a gastronomic delicacy,  nobody will mind Goats getting fatter. And "Goats in Bengal eat absolutely anything" , there is a Bengali proverb that corroborate to that.

3. Put AQI monitors in all small cities and towns and then check the kind of miserable air, your stupid machines and new techniques brought you.

4. Why No Doctor in Bengal talks about this local stubble burning? They are too busy drinking "India Made Local Scotch", they don't know these..

AQI & Nationalism : How national air quality Indices are Fooling People.

 Very few people realise that although Air Quality Index is measured by scientific instruments and by using Scientific methods , their classification is neither Scientific Nor Universal. 

And you can thank Nationalist Scientists (Its an oxymoron, but must apt in case) for that. 

 Before Political Animals thrust their dirty paws into that, it was a scientific metric. Measured from 1 to 999 in scale.

Just because, US recalibrated its index to 1 - 500, every other Government decided to have their own AQI system .If every country can have their own stock market index with distinct components, why can't they have "National Air Quality Index"?

Besides what "Old Index" would have shown a severe 750, "New Index" will only show a "Not Good" 350-380 In India or a 8 in UK or a Hazardous 9 in Canada .

 Environment Activists mostly come from Social studies and humanities streams academically, they will not get that.

 Already hearing in Lots of Media channels how India's AQI has improved From 999 to just about 500.

It's not just India, other Countries are using that trick. While China, Canada and UK are using Index range of 1 to 10 /10+ , their gradations and health Interpretations differ. EU is using 1 to 100 scale where they only monitor Greenhouse gases and not hazardous particulate matters. Similarly Australia, SE Asia countries have their own AQI, where even a 300 score can be termed as hazardous.

Even IIT graduates are falling for that.

Well, everyone is comparing Old Index scores with present day score and enjoying NUMERICAL SATISFACTION.  In India, IIT, Kanpur came up with this system in 2014. Where words like Unhealthy and Hazardous are replaced by Poor, Very Poor and Severe . 

Besides India's PM2.5 gradations of Poor (91 - 120), Very Poor ( 121 - 150 ), Severe (Only if above 251) all of which will rank in Extremely hazardous in Most countries like UK, US, Canada and even China .

But "Green-Savvy" Politicians and activists won't understand that. Besides India is having hottest autumn since records began. Air expands in heat and suspended particulate matters are packed less densely now, so AQI will not reflect whether pollutants are less or more.

I know, BJP sold crap meters that looks like a timepiece with a screen which shows the current AQI and its classification in any place. People bought them and carrying them everywhere,  BJP never let's any opportunity of scam go by, but for this I blame the people. 

I blame the people because if you are literate enough to read AQI , why didn't you take the next step and read what constitutes the AQI ? Scammers will always scam you, if you are not alert.

I mean you are buying a gadget that goes upto 500 and taking the satisfaction that it's no longer 999? 500 is the new 999 in AQI, now.

These are contract and undertaking pages of Morbi Hanging Bridge.  Obviously Managing Director of Ajanta , Whom Media calls "Jaysukhbhai Patel" but whose documents in Ministry of Corporate Affairs say "Jaysukhbhai Bhalodia" is culpable for the tragedy and should have been booked for Criminal Negligence endangering of public safety, he is nowhere to be found. 

Even Media, both Delhi-based and Gujarat-based have moved on to other things.

2020 is incidentally the year, when in middle of Pandemic restrictions, A large Media group TV9 gave "Nav Nakshatra Business Award" to Jaysukh Patel, the link on YouTube is for all to see.

Why even that Media Group can't find their most eminent business award winner now? 

Is Jaysukh now absconding ? From What ? Investigators in Gujarat are not even willing to take his name in the investigation.  Public Fury? That thing is unheard of, specially against a businessman from ruling BJP supporter group. 

Meanwhile Election Commission of India has declared the Gujarat election dates, driving the final nail in the charade of bridge collapse Investigation.

NOBODY IN THE MEDIA , will now ask what happened in that meeting in 2020? Who all were present ? Election time ads are big money spinners for media.

He entered the bridge buying a Rs. 15 ticket. 

Now it costs Rs. 17.

Remember in the Contract with Morbi Municipality, Oreva was allowed to increase Rs. 2 in ticket price, every year from now on.

This video also showed Aluminium flooring in dilapidated conditions, although the travel vlogger thoroughly enjoyed his crossing .

This video also showed, bridge swayed when even one person crossed it and even 2-3 people were able to swing the bridge. 

Let me now share, another video of Morbi Hanging Bridge,  which was kind of promotional video but important to show that even 6 years ago, Morbi Suspension Bridge had Aluminium flooring.

The Misinformation that some Indian Media was peddling, that gets busted.

1.  Oreva aka Ajanta started charging people with Tickets of Hanging bridge only from this October. WRONG, they increased the price of tickets from Rs. 15 to Rs. 17.
   
2.  Changing Flooring from wood to Aluminium, this year; Caused the bridge to collapse. NOT TRUE.  Aluminium flooring was introduced many years ago.
   
3.  People suddenly started Swinging the bridge this year, leading to its collapse. INCORRECT.  In all old videos, you will see someone Or other is swaying the bridge. 
4.  Clock-maker Ajanta got the contract only this year. NOT TRUE, They were selling tickets at Rs. 15 , before the renovation. 

 

What caused the Bridge collapse?

Overcrowding, Deliberate Swaying and lack of rules and crowd control caused it. Bad maintenance definitely was a major factor too. 

The fault doesn't lie on 3-4 small fries now being "Put under trial" and this was not any "Act of God" (a legal tact to protect the criminals). It stems from " privatisation of public utilities is always Good " philosophy, at the end, they all fall down.

The beginning of the collapse started when a clock-maker company was given to contract of maintaining this specially critical old Suspension Bridge.

When did Ajanta get the Renovation contract?

Well, from reviewing older news reports, it points to a timeline of 2007. Even Ankit Tyagi of NDTV (formerly of India Today) accidentally mentioned it one night. Every News Editor knows that, but at that time CM of Gujarat was Current Prime Minister. 

So Super-scared Noida Media left Morbi yesterday. No more Ground Zero report from Godi Media. I'm currently searching for news reports from 2007, will blog as soon as I get some documentary evidence.

Anatomy of the Morbi Coverup: The Scam, The Disaster and The Hushing Up

Well before the tragedy struck in the hanging bridge, Oreva group had planned the contingency in case they have to flee Morbi. It is quite evident from their conspicuous absence presently and their website failing to mention even one of present Directors. The website although registered after Ajanta group founder was no more, talks only about Late  Odhavjibhai Patel.

 One Person, Multiple Name.

Now Government of India's corporate database states Late Odhavjibhai's official name to be, "
Odhavjibhai Ravjibhai Bhalodia". Patel is only their caste name, for unofficial and social purposes, most Bhalodia people use Patel as surnames and that is perfectly acceptable, nothing foul in that. For Middle name, their custom is to use Father's name or husband's name (Which actually helps in searching database and building Ancestry trees for us, not that they meant that).

Ajanta group's other brand name, ORPAT ie O.R.Patel is testimony to that practice, but that segment is handled by a different son , Pravin Kumar Patel or PravinKumar Odhavjibhai Bhalodia  and is handled by different Corporate Entity , Orpat Industries. Since he is not part of Oreva group , there is no point searching into that. 

But this proves beyond all doubt, their Surname in all official documents are Bhalodia and not Patel.  Similarly there might be hundreds of Jaysukh Patel, but ". Jaysukhbhai Odhavjibhai Bhalodia" might just be quite an unique name.

Since Ministry of Corporate Affairs insists unique Director Identification Number or DIN is issued only in the official name used in current passport (old rule, perhaps now the name in aadhaar card), all honest directors use that name in website, bank accounts and obviously in signature.

 Apparently When he wrote a book, "Samasya Aane Samadhan" he used his name to be "Jaysukhbhai Patel, MD, Ajanta Oreva group" where he lectured how to run a country, state or a business.  Absolutely "Mujhe Doh Mujhe, Humey Sab kuchh Aata Hai" school of Humbug philosophy, a book priced Rs. 200 and nobody bought it and now giving it free from Oreva Group website.  Statutory warning, if you read even the preface of it now, your blood will boil.

Why was he introducing himself as "Jaysukh bhai Patel, MD, Oreva group" to Media as his official name? Maybe only he can tell from overseas hideout . 

Why has he become unreachable since the day of the tragedy?

Jaysukh Bhalodia is not a newbie, he was appointed as MD of Ajanta Manufacturing in 1994, he should be knowing all these.

Is he still in India or gone away?

FIRST CAME PROBE, THEN SIT, THEN DETAILED PROBE and out came some incompetent PUBLIC PROSECUTOR.

Although some Minister Ordered Probe, Chief Minister of Gujarat made that Special Investigation under SIT of competent people and Supreme Leader aka PM Modi himself tutored those competent people on how to conduct a detailed probe,  today some low ranked people (like ticketing clerk, private security guards) who were arrested from the site of accident were taken to the court and remanded in Police custody . 

But when public prosecutor said, "These people are charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder" and in the same press brief went on to say "the Directors of the Oreva group in the contract",  the signs of cover-up becomes evident. 

Thankfully for these incompetent prosecutors, these kind of "Meet the press" happens on the foot-path of the court complex, preferably under the shade of a tree ... while journalists jostle among themselves for elbow room and 20 different journalists shout 10 different questions in 3 languages at the same time. Therefore no meaningful questions can be asked to the person briefing, such Prosecutors scoot away in the journalistic melee. All that remains is the audio or audio-visual recording of the prepared statement. Same happened here.

Questions for Public PROSECUTOR, now I ask: 

1. Is he aware the MD of Oreva came himself for reopening and his family members (incidentally Directors of Overa) cut the ribbons ?

2. Is he aware, MD of Oreva himself boasted that he gave the Sub-contract of repair work within Rs 2 Crore?

3. Is he, the public prosecutor aware that MD of Oreva said, no more repair work will be needed for 7-8years .. is Public Prosecutor know that MD of Oreva group is the director and head of Oreva group of companies?

4. Is Public Prosecutor aware that, Charging Ticket Counter Clerk with Culpable homicide in a bridge collapse is same as charging Airlines Ticket Seller for Air crash or Railway Ticket Clerk for railway accidents caused by maintenance negligence?

5. Is the Public Prosecutor aware that Crowd Management, Civil Infrastructure Protection is the job of the Police? How can 3 security guards prevent 500 people from going on the bridge? Why were they even arrested ?

6. Is the public prosecutor aware that, hanging bridge of Morbi is a public thoroughfare and not a private road or joyride? That being the case, Morbi Municipality (Nagar Palika) is fully responsible for its safety .  Why no one from Municipality is named in the FIR? Why no signatories of the scamming, money-spining contract for Oreva not booked? The Sub-Contractor of the contract are charged with Culpable homicide, but main contract signatories go Scot-free?

7. Before getting Fitness certificate, how can MD of Oreva reopen the bridge? Does Public prosecutor know, which political luminaries from Morbi Municipality were present in that ceremony? Is Oreva MD is not even culpable after that, but 3 security guards Oreva appointed then on temporary basis are?

Such questions Run riots in any sane person's head after knowing at least 135 are dead from bridge collapse.

 November 2, A perfect date for Coverup And hushing up the story:

There are so many distractions today,  let me list them out.. perfect day to push Morbi Story out of headlines.

1. World Cup T20 match of India. 

2. Smog in Delhi. 

3. Waterlogging in Chennai. 

4. By-elections in 6 states.

5. Shah rukh's Birthday. 

These events are each news worthy, are enough to draw attention to 99.9% Indians away from Morbi. But on the day like today, if I can't write a blog dedicated to the lost souls of Morbi and ask poignant questions, then shame on me and shame on my education.

Answers :

On 31st Oct, I asked the question "Who gave the contract of Bridge Repair and Maintenance for 15 years to clock-maker Ajanta?" 

Correct answer will be, In 2007, then Gujarat CM Modi gave the contract to Ajanta. This bridge was closed for safety reasons after Gujarat Earthquake.

On 2022, that contract was renewed for another 15 years.  There are tale-tell signs of the old contract in the new contract. For 15 years, all Ajanta group did was to find local-handyman and masons and do patch-works and sell tickets to "Jhulto Pul" and treat it as a joyride.

Bonus Information for Journalists: 

The aluminium flooring lightened the weight and allowed larger sways while swinging and if you look at Google Map, you will find many pictures of people crossing that bridge, where aluminium flooring can be seen. Even how it got damaged before and formed a "V" like shape. So if any Construction Expert in India says ("Indian Experts can say that") changing Bridge flooring from Wood to Aluminium made it heavier, that is neither the truth nor factually correct (Stay clear of such experts). Wood is much more dense and therefore heavier than Aluminium. In fact, Aluminium made it lighter and converted the bridge into a unsafe joyride like a swing, creating higher stress on the old wires and one of them snapped. 

Replace Costly Wood with Aluminium Works in Windows, so jugaad (patchwork) king loved that and used that in swing ie Suspension Bridge at Morbi.

Want to recover all dead bodies: clear the water hyacinths

 Morbi disaster: if you want to recover all dead bodies; Clear the water hyacinths. 

Rather than creating acrobatic waves with motorboats through stagnant waters of Machchu river (in November) at Morbi,  NDRF Should try to drag Nets and clear out hyacinths from water, which can be clearly seen on TV screens. 

Anything trapped within those weeds , CAN NOT BE spotted in Sonar . No operator can detect which echo is from Garbage or dense hyacinths and which are from human remains stuck in Mud.

For all practical purposes, the water body of Machchu river at Morbi should be treated like large pond or a marsh. Creating waves will not make any body to float and Navy divers have almost zero chance to spot any body visually. 

So it's much more useful to clear out water hyacinths to make sure, nobody is stuck in the mud there. Simple dragging of nets will do, no rocket science needed. And the mesh wire fence of collapsed Oreva Jhulto pul can be used to clear out water hyacinths, if they don't Have NETS. They mesh wire fence are literally hanging over water hyacinths as an obscene reminder of lack of common sense of the authorities. 

PS: There are no chance that Ajanta/Oreva Directors hiding in Water hyacinths, why aren't they clearing the water hyacinths? What are they trying to hide?

Most Indians have forgotten that Modi had inaugurated "Lord Hanuman Statue" at Morbi on 15-16th April, 2022 via video conferencing.  And all TV channels showed that speech Nationally, all over India. 

Those very TV channels are forgetting to highlight that Modi called that part of country as "Mini-japan". Let me quote verbatim from that report:

"He noted the resilience of Morbi as it is thriving centre of industries today. The Prime Minister said, if we look at brass from Jamnagar, engineering from Rajkot and clock industry of Morbi, it gives a feeling of ‘Mini Japan’."

 Any Indian even those with minimal IQ knows that, By clock industry of Morbi only Ajanta were meant. 

Is it only sheer coincidence, the Morbi Hanging Bridge renovation contract to Oreva/Ajanta was given by local municipal body (incidentally Ruled by Modi's party BJP) was signed in and around that period only.

So shouldn't the responsibility of Accidents in "Mini Japan" aka Morbi, fall on the guy who coined this term.

The answer may be quite simple, someone in High Position in Home Ministry of India. That too due to a criminal defamation complaint by Ruling Party's IT cell dude. That creep himself tweets "Fake Stuff" all day, everyday.

The Wire was wrong to use some dubious emails in a news story but the news outfit has apologised for editorial gaffe and retracted that story. After that, they can't be held for any defamation Suit. BTW Defamation of a person, renowned for fake news infamy .. is that even possible .

 Who will ask Bhalodia, who will put the Billionaire clock maker and Modi Fan in jail?

Two business man, probably a father-son duo, both Bhalodia, Jaysukhbhai Bhalodia and Chintan Bhalodia names turn up. 

They are large and popular Ajanta Wall clock maker and recently created Oreva Company to market Made in china, CFL lights. And they are a huge campaign contributor of BJP. Before popularity of Air-conditioning, they made ceiling fans and solar calculator, with the brand name Orpat.

They were well looked up by BJP also, getting large and I mean huge lands of agriculture and converted them into industrial land and now trying to reconvert them into housing projects.

 Now as part of Modi's plan to give away all historic landmarks to private operators to make quick bucks, as they did to Red fort in Delhi, they did this scam in Morbi , Gujarat.  They scam is instead of "Repair or Restoration" projects, tenders are floated for "Renovation and Maintenance ".

Now "Jhulto Pul" or Hanging bridge had no such huge historical significance, initially built to allow "Rulers of Morvee Princely State" to cross Machchu River to visit temples on the other side of palace.

So they used the other feature of the Bridge is that it sways in high wind and Ajanta/Oreva sold tickets to the bridge as if it will always sway and swing. There are few video of people trying desperately to sway the bridge.  

What a cheap price for a human life, Rs. 17 for adults, 5 for children. That's what Oreva Company earned by selling tickets to Bridge, not to cross the river but to sway with the bridge. 

Morbi is no stranger to massive Disasters, young people may not know, thousands had died in 1979 when Machchu river dam collapsed and villages like leelapur were wiped out. But that was due to heavy rain, a natural disaster.  That was not due to greed . Even when Dam collapsed in 1979, Morbi Bridge did not collapse. 

I am always critical of Indian Media and rightfully so, but NDTV must be commended for reaching to the office of Oreva and Ajanta. And they also reached to Hospital to talk to the survivors And got the "Bridge Ticket" scam out.

 Another TATA Misadventure in the sky

While Bogus "Indian Media" goes Ga-Ga about "TATA-Airbus" deal, very few knows it is a deal between Debt Ridden TATA Advanced Systems Limited and financially unsustainable CASA of Spain. This deal has taken place only because Union Government decided to purchase not so popular and costly C-295 planes, not one but 62 of them.

 16 of them were to be procured from Spain right away, 46 to be assembled somewhere in India within a period of 10 years. All these were reported by Indian Media and even Indian Correspondent of Jane's Weekly reported that way back in 2019 ( See the link ) ; Back then they promised to set up the plant near Bangalore in Karnataka. Now TATA's this outfit is based out of Telangana, set up in 2006 in a village south of Hyderabad (it was part of Andhra Pradesh then) and got huge Freebie in terms of land procurement. 

Opposition party from Maharashtra, now claims they were promised is Aircraft Assembly Plant, but obviously Airbus Aka CASA needed some place closer to a sea-port to reduce cost and Elections coming to Gujarat, therefore the plant is being set up near Vadodara. One would have thought TATA would reuse the closed Nano plant, but that belongs to TATA Motors, not TASL. Land will be given for free to TATA and Government of India run (although they are listed companies and public bought shares) Banks will fund the misadventure and more, so what the hell.

Back in 2016, TASL was restructuring Rs 70,00,00,000 in debt in addition to similar Restructuring of Debt , every year before and possibly every year since.

And yes, No TATA was ever in the board of Directors of TASL, That's just the brand name, TATA Sons use just to attract easy credit and gullible retail investors during IPO.

One might remember, TATA Group also has a JV with Lockheed Martin, which was set up also in Andhra Pradesh, had to restructure debts amounting to  375000000 Rs, in 2017.

Back then , TATA group claimed that they will make Hyderabad its Aeronautics hub. But now, it seems the their hub revolves round "Modi's Election Plans", so not Hyderabad but Vadodara gets the Assembly plant. And the funny part is both Joint Venture firms, TATA-Lockheed Martin and TASL are registered to same address:

 Both showing same immovable assets as collateral to same banks and same bank management agreeing to both.

Is this a scam? I don't know, this seems a misadventure at best and just like TATA Lockheed Martin can't get any sale outside Indian Defence Forces, this venture too shall be constrained by same.

One thing is for sure, the employees will have no job security or retirement benefits and the plant will close down at most in 7 to 10 years from now, just like the TATA Nano plant. 

Just that, gullible public will vote in droves for BJP and BJP  government will forego TATA's debt. What a Ponzi, Sir-ji!!

I am a longtime supporter of Ropeways and sustainable tourism in Himalayas, even adventure and winter sports (except snowball throwing, which is most popular in India). And I always wondered why we can't have nice ropeways, when even Nepal has some.

So I was actually very happy to know, Kedarnath & Badrinath will get 2 ropeways, so I read the Modi doing "Foundation stone" of ropeways news. The ceremony was of course a grandstanding and hyperbole exercise to garner Hindu right wing votes, still it could have been beneficial in the long run. No adventure sports enthusiasts but pilgrims will be transported by the cable cars here. Still better than highly polluting cars and choppers. 

Price Tag , Oh the Price Tag 

2430,00,00,000 Rupees,  yes, 2430 crore rupees. 

To compare Ropeways costs, specially alpine / Himalayas ropeways , the trick is to convert the project cost in Euro(s). Currency conversion is easy these days, divide by 81 , for approximations, by 80.

So round about,  30 crore or 300 million euros.  Fine, it involves 2 ropeways,  150 million euro each.

But I know, state of the art ropeways are getting installed in Europe for 30-40 million euros.

Ropeways of these kind are a duopoly globally,  Either Leitner or Doppelmayr does that. I don't know who bagged the project. Indian Media reports are never that detailed.

Would anyone care to explain the astronomical costs? 

Don't try Himalayas is taller than Alps argument. 

Ropeways in Alps always end at sky slope top or Mountain top , whereas these ropeways are terminating in a valley, near temple towns.

While giving the altitude argument, also remember, they is ropeway / cable car planned and for much shorter distance, Tender value was another astronomical, 641 crore for merely 3.8 km travel from Varanasi cantonment metro to Gondolia park. 

Surely, Modi will lay another foundation stone there, come next election.

But Global arms trade watchdog "International Peace Research Institute, Stockholm" still puts India as world's largest arms importer for last 5 years arms trade. Interestingly even when Oil rich Saudi Arabia has been buying everything that kills for last few years. 

Now obviously, Indian Media's General Knowledge is very poor and Opposition parties are for show in India, nobody picked this up. Even Putin faces more opposition in Russia than Modi does in India. 

Disgusting, Disgusting, Disgusting! I will go back to old habit of not listening to any word this diabolical liar says, because I can't tolerate lies and my blood pressure spikes up.

Meanwhile US Dollar crept up to Rs. 83 in Indian day trade, clear sign of trade deficit growing bigger and FII Day trade not being favorable for India.

This announcement came from None other than Indian Prime Minister Mr Modi yesterday.  So he ended up saying "Multiple Companies creating same useful products" is nothing but "Scuffle among companies" , his limited understanding seems to suggest "one brand ie Monopoly is best way to price stability" and he also named that brand "Bharat" , the hindi name for India. 

Monopoly loving price rigging Prime Minister isn't even aware how "Retail product pricing" is done, after production, transport-insurance-labour handling charges are added. So consumers near the factory get to pay less than consumers at the farthest part of company. 

Neither is he aware that when there are multiple producers of the same Useful product then just to attract more consumers, companies try to offer lowest price.  Urea market were not even in perfect competition stage in India,  it was merely Oligopoly, but there were few Government aided fertilizer companies who were given subsidies in past to keep Fertiliser prices (and in turn input costs of farmers ) in check . 

Over last one decade, Fake and Fraudulent "Free Market Loving" Economists lobbied hard to get rid of Fertiliser subsidies and now they are silent at "One Nation, One Urea Company" concept. Barring this blog, you would not see any criticism of this concept. 

On odd day, Modi advises to methane capture from garbage rotting in drain and cooking with it and local fertiliser production by villagers from "Cowdung gas plant" and on even days, Modi Says "One large factory for Urea supply of whole nation " .

India's biggest problem is now that Indian Press is not only deaf and dumb , but blind also. TV channels have only one job, "Sell potato chips while spreading hate against Muslims " , so nobody will say anything against "Urea Monopoly" and impending doom of Fertiliser shortages in many parts of country . 

When this utopian concept was first leaked, they said Government will give 90% subsidy and now of course, that bit is omitted, no chamcha reporter managed to say, what amount of subsidy (if any) will be given.  Forget asking what will be "Cost to Government budget" and is that even Provisioned for in the Union Budget.

Expected is that most people where given "vaccine" in Europe this year also in Europe, if that is the case then they are providing very little (almost zero) immunity given the high caseload in Europe in early October.

Last Winter , we got lucky as mild Omicron strain were most dominant and yes I did call it mild, much to the angst and fury of "Dogs of WHO". It was caused by Crude price rise thanks to War in Ukraine and capitalist Central Banks waking up to the fact, interest rates can't stay negative forever (or ever, although Japan and Switzerland still using that utopian cocaine). While high energy prices are driving inflation into hyperinflation, higher interest rates slows it down , therefore reopen Tourism,  Whore-houses and Airlines etc. etc.

2. People are literate everywhere, but poorly educated; so they can't differentiate between Caution and Panic... therefore Stop testing and stop reporting, after all, General practitioners can't test Fever cases themselves.  That's the modus operandi of WHO and WHO-licking-Media.

3. Everyone knows SARSCOV2 becomes dormant in Heatwave. So serious cases came down in US and Europe. 

4. Even Fraud Fauci has packed his bags and leaving his advisory position in December.  One guess is Moderna and Pfizer CEOs will be incomunicado as Winter Outbreak among the vaccinated will hit a peak.

5. Even the self-styled "Emperor of Free World" Joe Biden gave the election promise to Americans, "I'll follow the Science (whoever He or She is)" and Criticized Donald "Duck" Trump, when he stupidly said "Stop Mass Testing".

But Joe Biden is doing what Trump had asked, he stopped testing.

 6. Election, Election everywhere. As per clinical study in India, Election Campaigns never spread airborne Coronavirus... only visiting restaurants without musk does. Just kidding, these kind of stupid restrictions were there, but no study has been conducted.  But 2022 had many important elections in this summer and in Brazilian Spring and US midterm elections of fall are yet to come.  After all, what's 100-200 thousand extra deaths worth, definitely not worth breaking "Global Puppet Order" .

Hello Kids, It's been long time since we have heard from you and even Politicians has stopped giving lip service to you. Some of you might have moved to college now and driving fossil fuel powered cars. 

I thought I would share with you how many oil wells are active now . Take a look at this picture, red dots symbolize active fires and 95% of red dots in this image are methane exhaust burning from oil wells, so these not only pollute the atmosphere but also produce oils for cars, electricity for Western and westernized worlds. They in turn emit many folds of greenhouse gases. 

But they basically create huge profits for few Big oil companies, thanks to structure created by Big banks and Politicians. Sometimes they are based on Geopolitical Sanctions, sometimes based on futures contracts.  Big Business rakes in Big Money, economic activities keep on happening. 

Recession or No Recession, the poor locals and migrant workers will continue to live in treacherous conditions in Middle east as Kings and Presidents amass great wealth by plundering the planet. 

Do you want to know a survival strategy, spend your next summer vacation or at least parts of it in a desert. That's what earth will turn to, thanks to BP, ExxonMobil,  Shell, Aramco and shale oil companies. 

Don't waste your Fridays on Green politics and don't waste your life following "Earth Summit" or COP ... because "The World Leaders" are hypocrites and as are their pet Media. On last November, these bunch of hypocrites promised "Net Zero Emissions", now they will quietly retire to their "Kickback & Bribe earned" lives.  These days "Green Joe Biden" says, every oil well must produce to their maximum, because that's what "The Great Game of Russia" and ongoing war demands. 

These wars are made by Politicians, so they can make easy u-turn on their promises and as long as such huge powers of waging war reside in select few, their would be one war or another. 

Look at uranium producing countries of West Africa, peace is always illusive there and poverty always abundant. Always in middle of civil war and military coups, on behest of "Big Mining Companies" and if Electric Batteries become next big fad, then there would be "Lithium Wars" too.
