 Silence of the "Good Indian"

At long last, the countries of Islamic world woke up from their slumber and realized that erstwhile "Dear friend Godi-ji" is a Muslim hater and for last 8 years has tried everything to make life hell-like for Indian Muslims and also he did the same for "Good Indians" of hindu or other Faith. 

 All the  Hugs and Kisses by Gulf country leaders for Godi-ji has been for a lost cause,  as he and his party are not misinformed "Islamophobe" but complete Muslim-hater by doctrine.

  And the indoctrination skills are so commonly displayed and so strongly manifested in public in India that the Judiciary,  Police force and Media is completely brainwashed.  And all this are happening right in front of Good Indians , who are conveniently Silent.  

 TO SAVE ONE'S SOUL OR TO SAVE ONE'S SKIN, that is the dilemma "Good Indians" face.

What else to say, In legal
Parlance there are terms like Statutes of Settlement and Easement Rights but not so in Northern State of Uttar Pradesh,  when It comes to Majoritarian claims. 

The courts are debating and correcting errors or alleged errors committed by Mughal emperors 500 to 300 years ago and changing the ownership and nature of buildings and lands. 

But if you think your parents didn't get a fair share of grandfather's property 20-30 years , same judges will severely reprimand you that you can not claim now as statute of settlement has expired and you must not waste Courts time.

If some of your legally owned land has squatters on them for many years,  Same courts will say "Even squatters have rights"

But if you can concoct a story line that some Mughal emperor cheated you, maybe the same judges will give you, a compassionate hearing.

Recently someone tried that tact with Taj Mahal (One of 7 wonders of the world), even he got a hearing . But that Mughal era Memorial of a Mughal Queen, rakes in Millions of tourism dollars, so judge had to throw the case out stating "it's a debate for historians" and that good judge must commended for doing the right thing. 

Yes, Commended for doing the right thing as many of their esteemed colleagues can't do it and collapse to the nudges of ruling parties.

 Police, Pull-ish, Bulldozer wise, Penal Code Foolish

In India, as per Laws established, Police force is bound to act according to Criminal Procedure Code and Indian Penal Code, but in Godi-ji party ruled states especially they work as henchmen of party.

Although Indian Laws absolute prohibit "Instant Justice" and assure "Due course of law" , every Muslim protester with reasonable amount of property is getting their homes and shops bulldozed. This is not only illegal but also criminal offense by Police force, simply because No law allows it. 

No such law can be formulated also,  because even criminals family has a right to safety of a house, this is precisely why jails are built so that only the wrong-doer can be punished, not the whole family. 

At no point am I stressing that being a Muslim and a protester is a crime, although that's the narrative in Indian Media.

Rwanda had 1 Radio station, India has 500 TV Equivalents. 

Indian TV channels shout so much that even if you mute them, you can hear the Anchors shouting at you, "You are Al-Guava, Al-Apple, Al-Mango Terrorist.. you are watching me shout but not hearing my propaganda ".

Noteworthy mention in spreading "Anti-Muslim propaganda" are :

1. Ambani - Viacom joint venture and India's CNN, Cnnnews18 and its affiliates . 

2. Times of India group's Times Now.

3. BJP MP owned Republic channels.

4. Another BJP supported MP own Zee News.

5. India Today and Aaj Tak, Godi-crony Today group owned network. 

6. ABP network. 

They have 100s of channels among themselves and they are paid by Government Ads to promote these propaganda, although one suspects nobody can spread hate for 8 years without being indoctrinated in the hateful organisation. 

NDTV on the other hand, plays the role of dutiful pussycat, they just Mew once or twice and leave the couch to watch sports outside.

In conclusion 

I must confess now, I am an atheist for many years but I was born in an orthodox Bengali Brahmin family and perhaps this is the reason the Bigotry of BJP and the political class is such an eyesore to me. My Orthodox Grandparents and Parents would have never agreed to such persecution of Muslims and Sikhs and Christians, being victims of partition of India themselves. They had experienced what hatred among communities can cause and perhaps that's why they inculcated a respect for Constitution of India in me. 

And Why I became an atheist, well, that's a private matter between me and the God and not relevant in present discussions.  However over the years and specially after Pandemic, I have seen people from all faiths praying to their Gods and finding solace of a kind which my spoken or written words can't fetch; So who am I to mock their prayers.  But all communities must allow others to pray and be in harmony.

So In Conclusion,  

What am I hoping to save with this blog, My Skin or My Soul.. Neither.. I'm trying to save the idea of Secular Modern India in which I grew up, where you could speak on behalf of those who aren't heard, those who are Oppressed and Persecuted.
